Backend systems,
on-device intelligence,
built quietly.

I’m Mahmut Enes Çevik — a backend engineer and M.Sc. researcher building distributed services in Java & Go, and shipping quantized LLMs directly to phones with Kotlin & Jetpack Compose. Currently at FibaBanka, researching at Yıldız Technical University.

Background & Expertise

My day-to-day is Java and Spring Boot, with a strong pull toward Go for distributed services and Kotlin + Jetpack Compose for on-device work. I care about scalability, maintainability, and the kind of quiet code that survives a 3am pager.

I’m pursuing my M.Sc. in Computer Engineering at Yıldız Technical University (2025–2027), researching remote sensing, computer vision, language models, and state estimation.

Experience & Education

Experience 2024 →

Software Developer, Tech Partnerships

FibaBanka A.Ş. / Istanbul / Intern
Mar 2025 — Now
  • Developing and maintaining backing services that directly impact partner integrations.
  • Writing unit and integration tests to maintain code quality and prevent regressions in production.

Software Developer

Turkcell Technology / Istanbul / Intern
Jan — Feb 2025
